Motown Night Arrives at Clematis by Night on April 16
Downtown's weekly free-concert tradition gets a theme night this month. Clematis by Night — the Thursday-evening live music series that has been anchoring downtown West Palm Beach's social calendar for years — welcomes N2Nation: The Sounds of Motown & More to the Palm Stage on the Great Lawn on Thursday, April 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. Free admission, free music, and the city's best excuse to pack a camp chair and a dog.
Clematis by Night runs on the Great Lawn along the Intracoastal, with the city skyline on one side and the Palm Beach mega-yachts visible across the water on the other. April's lineup also features On the Roxx (April 9), Mighty Flea Circus for rockabilly and swing on April 30, and the regular rotation of local food vendors working the edges of the lawn.
If you're going: bring a low chair or a blanket, arrive by 6 to claim a spot near the stage, and wander Clematis Street after the show — the bars and restaurants are busiest after the music ends and the crowd fans out.
