Clematis Street Runs West Palm Beach's Night

Clematis Street downtown is West Palm's walking nightlife corridor — Respectable Street is the indie-rock institution (open since 1987); Blue Martini is the upscale cocktail lounge; Kapow Noodle Bar has a bar scene that runs past dinner. Rosemary Square a few blocks south has the newer polished bar scene.

For live music, The Warehouse District in the 1500 block of North Dixie has emerging music venues; Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard has the bigger rooms. For a different scene, Howley's in the Northwood Village runs the indie-dive version.

Florida 2 AM last call. West Palm Beach is compact enough to walk downtown; the Worth Avenue (Palm Beach Island) scene across the bridge is a separate, earlier night.
